Reared in the Tipperary countryside by a family of foxes, I discovered my predilection for the arts after a particularly painful encounter with a large hare. With the career ambition of becoming an audio/visual developer, I studied multimedia at both Hochschule Darmstadt, Germany, and CIT. I have strong interest in sonic art and experimental film-making and participate in these as a means of advancing my technical understanding and adds forms of personal expression.
My Bachelor's Project – an interactive audio/visual installation – has been developed in conjunction with Cork City Gaol. It invites visitors to enter a prison stocks, thereby affording them an immersive snapshot experience of a now defunct method of prisoner punishment.
