The primary aim our final year project is to stimulate and engage the general public on urban environmental awareness. This will be achieved by designing and developing wearable smart clothing that detects local environmental data and responds in an appropriate way. The interactive jacket is designed to raise awareness of environmental data visualization and to encourage the general public to emotionally connect with the results, and to observe and analyse their response. Through design and development of numerous prototypes, which implement a combination of sensors, actuators and environmental data, to stimulate conversation on the local air quality, we will evaluate whether the results are positive or negative. I am in charge of the design, development and analysis of the project.
